Sacramento Kings Buyout Brooks Contract

The Sacramento Kings have announced earlier Friday afternoon that they have bought out starting point guard Aaron Brooks contract.

With a lot of speculation about why the Sacramento Kings have decided to make this move is probably about the playing time that Brooks has not been getting due to splitting time with Isaiah Thomas & Toney Douglas.

When you are looking about possible destinations for the Seattle native, it was rumored that he will be making a comeback with his former team the Houston Rockets where he had a lot of success and had the best part of his young career with. Brooks, if he returns to Houston will likely be the backup to the new comer in Houston Jeremy Lin.

Aaron Brooks this season for the Sacramento Kings has averaged 8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game this season so far. Expect for his numbers to go up as a member of the Houston Rockets as he will be the primary backup to Jeremy Lin in Houston.
