Philip Humber spent the last 2 seasons pitching in the Chicago White Sox organization before joining the Astros on Friday. But when you go back and look at his career with the Chicago White Sox Humber will most known for his excellent pitching vs the Seattle Mariners back on April 21st 2012 and on that date marks Philip Humber’s perfect game vs the Mariners. In his excellent performance vs the Mariners Humber struck out 9 Mariners batters.

Philip Humber in the 2 seasons with the Chicago White Sox Humber has a .500 win loss percentage at 14-14 and struck out a total of 201 batters in 54 games with the Chicago White Sox.

According to HoustonAstros.com they currently list Humber as the teams #4 starting pitcher behind Lucas Harrell, Bud Norris and Jordan Lyles.
