Brandon Roy Out For A Month After A Knee Scope

Minnesota Timberwolves off season acquirement Brandon Roy will be sidelined for the next month after undergoing another knee operation.

Brandon Roy returned to basketball after retiring after the 2011 NBA Lockout due to knee issues. This past off season Brandon Roy announced that he is un-retiring form the game and decided to give another shot in the NBA and on July 31st the Timberwolves sign Roy to an contract.

This season for the Minnesota Timberwolves Roy has played only 4 games for the team and has averaged 5.8 points a game. The Minnesota Timberwolves now have Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio and Chase Budinger all out with injuries now with Roy on the list it will be very interesting to see how the Timberwolves over come all these injuries. The Wolves this season are 5-4 and are 2 games out of the 1st place Oklahoma City Thunder.

With Brandon Roy on the shelf this gives opportunity for Malcolm Lee more playing time and more time to show his skills on the court.
